Agusti Receives Grant from National Geographic Society's Global Storytellers Fund

Luján Agusti has received a grant from the National Geographic Society’s Global Storytellers Fund and their new collaboration with @TheClimatePledge. As a NatGeo Explorer, she will be able to continue her work about peatlands worldwide and the important role they play in the fight against climate change.

Agusti writes: “We have already started the journey documenting the magnificent and pristine lands of Peninsula Mitre, together with @delucanico @isadoraromerophoto@piclalune.sv @tdfautentica @juanpi.cv to insist in the need to declare them a Reserved Area.”

Agusti’s work on the subject was recently published by National Geographic.
