Special 32-page, full-color magazine (edition 1000) which was distributed for free at Donald Trump's inauguration in January 2017 in Washington, DC. Drawn from the long-term, ongoing project The Beating of the Heart, about the small Iowa town of Webster City.
Great Old Days has been featured by TIME Magazine, HUCK Magazine, and LensCulture. It was included in the 10x10 Photobooks' AWAKE! Reading Room at the 2017 PGH Photo Fair at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the AWAKE! Book & Zine Bazaar at the Magnum Foundation in New York City, the 2017 Image Text Ithaca Symposium at Ithaca College, shown at the Benaki Museum in Greece as part of the 2017 Athens Photo Festival, and selected for By the Books, a juried photobook exhibition at the Vermont Center for Photography.
